Margarita 1014

Behind every name, there’s a story. My name is Marcella Moreno, and I am the proud owner of Margarita 1014. I have been a resident of Battle Creek for the last 14 years but was born and raised in the Little Village community of Chicago. Margarita 1014 started about 15 years ago when I was home with my girls making jewelry.

What began as a hobby of crafting jewelry then became selling my pieces, with the hope of one day having a shop of my own.

For many years I put that dream aside to be a full-time mother. Now I have the opportunity to start up my shop.

A majority of the items I sell are from Mexico. They are handmade blouses, jewelry, and home decor items. My hope is through these items, I can share the beautiful stories of our culture to others.
